


ArmInfo. On November 13, Vardan Vardanyan, Chief of the Criminal Police and Deputy Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia, received representatives from the regional offices of the Drug Enforcement Administration of the US Department of Justice.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service, Vardan Vardanyan highly appreciated the active cooperation and thanked his colleagues for their productive work and efforts. He emphasized that drug trafficking is a transnational crime, and through international cooperation, tangible results can be achieved in combating it. Vardan Vardanyan assured that the partnership will continue in the same spirit: the Armenian side is committed to continuing cooperation at a new level, aimed at effectively achieving shared goals in fighting crime.
The meeting participants emphasized the importance of regional cooperation in enhancing the effectiveness of efforts against drug trafficking and affirmed their readiness to continue working together.
