ArmInfo. On March 5, 2025, the RA Prosecutor General's Office, within its authority to initiate proceedings to protect state interests, filed a lawsuit with the Anti- Corruption Court against the Vayk community, demanding that the auction of May 6, 2006, be declared invalid.
According to the supervisory authority, the Anti-Corruption Court upheld the Prosecutor General's Office's claim on October 23, 2025. The court ruled that the auction for the sale of a 1,000-square-meter plot of land belonging to the Zaritap community was invalid. Consequently, the land purchase agreement concluded between the Zaritap community and an individual in 2006 was also declared invalid. Following the entry into force of the ruling, the 1,000-square-meter plot of land in the village of Zaritap will be returned to the Vayk community of the Vayots Dzor region.
