Belarusian diplomat participates in commemorative events dedicated to  Griboyedov`s 230th birthday anniversary

ArmInfo.  Charge d'Affaires of Belarus to Armenia Inessa Kudruk participated in commemorative events dedicated to the 230th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian writer and playwright, talented musician, and brilliant diplomat Alexander Sergeyevich Griboyedov.

According to the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Armenia,  she participated in the event at the invitation of Simon Yesayan,  Chairman of the Association of Veterans of the Republic of Armenia.  During a thematic exhibition and roundtable discussion, participants  discussed how the outstanding work "Woe from Wit" continues to  respond to modern challenges and retains its poignancy and vitality  centuries later.  Following the event, a joint flower-laying ceremony  was held at the Alexander Griboyedov monument located on Yerevan's  ring road.

The event was also attended by N.V. Kulakova, Director of the  Griboyedov Khmelita Museum-Reserve, representatives of the Russian  Embassy, the Moscow State Institute of Culture, and Armenian  historians, writers, and public figures.
