


ArmInfo. On November 6, at a regular meeting, the Armenian government approved the signing of an Agreement on Cooperation in Education, Science, and Innovation with the Government of Montenegro.
As stated in the explanatory note to the document, the initiatives implemented under the Agreement will provide an opportunity to exchange necessary information and experience on the structure, content, and organization of education systems, jointly developed educational programs, and the organization of training courses and seminars. Within the framework of the European Research Area, the Republic of Armenia and Montenegro will collaborate in the implementation of joint research programs.
It is noted that mutual cooperation will facilitate the development of interaction between educational institutions at all levels of the education system, which could lead to the implementation of exchange programs for students, faculty, specialists, and researchers in the field of education. Another important initiative of mutual cooperation is the simplification of procedures for the recognition of educational documents and qualifications issued in both countries.
In accordance with the Agreement, the Parties will annually provide scholarships for internship and mobility programs in higher education institutions for faculty and scientists in the field of education and science in accordance with the national legislation of their countries and on a reciprocal basis.
