


ArmInfo. The 13th meeting of the Security Council Secretaries of the CIS member states will take place in Moscow today. The event will be chaired by Sergei Shoigu, Secretary of the Russian Security Council.
According to the press service of the Russian Security Council, the security council secretaries will discuss security challenges and threats in the CIS and possible joint response measures. The agenda includes consideration of the development of humanitarian and educational cooperation within the Commonwealth.
The meeting will also summarize the results of the first international Festival of the Peoples of Russia and the CIS, which includes a business program, a film forum, film screenings, exhibitions, lectures, educational events, master classes, a gala concert, and much more.
Meanwhile, according to TASS, Shoigu is expected to hold separate bilateral meetings with his colleagues from Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Belarus on the sidelines of the meeting. It should be noted that Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan will participate in the event on the Armenian side. He last participated in events of this format in 2022.
