


ArmInfo. RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan, who is in Doha on a working visit for the Second UN Conference on Social Development, met with Hungarian President Tamas Szulok, as reported by Vahagn Khachaturyan's press service.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen relations between Armenia and Hungary. The parties noted the effective cooperation established in air transportation and pharmaceuticals, emphasizing the need to expand ties, specifically in the economic sphere.
The presidents also highlighted the important role of the Armenian community in Hungary in strengthening relations between the two countries. Tamas Szulok noted that thanks to the active work of the Armenian community, Armenia is perceived in Hungary as a friendly country. President Vahagn Khachaturyan commended the Hungarian authorities' respectful and inclusive policies toward both Hungarian Armenians and national minorities in general.
Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing mutual visits and high-level meetings, as they provide new impetus to intensifying business cooperation and deepening mutual understanding between the two peoples.
