Zakharova responded to Pashinyan`s accusations against the KGB

ArmInfo. Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova responded to the Armenian Prime Minister's accusations of the KGB's involvement in the historical problems between Armenians and Turks.

"Prime Minister Pashinyan blamed the KGB for the historical problems  of Turks and Armenians. The KGB was created in 1954. The Armenian  Genocide in the Ottoman Empire began in 1915, almost 40 years before  the KGB was created," Zakharova recalled.

During government hour in parliament, the Armenian prime minister,  touching on relations with neighbors, called on Armenians to abandon  the world and the framework "that KGB agents had created for  Armenians."
