


ArmInfo.The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia presented the European Union (EU) delegation with tools to combat possible hybrid threats ahead of the next parliamentary elections in Armenia, scheduled for June 2026, as reported by the CEC press service to ArmInfo.
Vahagn Hovakimyan, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Armenia, told Vassilis Maragos, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Audron Perkauskine, Deputy Managing Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia at the EU External Action Service, David Cullen, Head of the Georgia and South Caucasus Division, Adrienn Kiraly, Director General for Eastern Neighborhood and Turkey; and other senior members of the delegation that the Central Election Commission is constantly updating its electronic systems to ensure the smooth operation of the electoral system.
The guests also inquired about the CEC's logistical support and preparedness for the electoral process. Hovakimyan assured the EU representatives that Armenia's electoral system is constantly preparing for the national elections.
