


ArmInfo. Bilateral defense consultations between Armenia and Germany were held at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defense on October 28-29. The consultations were co-chaired by Levon Ayvazyan, Head of the Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, and Colonel Christian Schmitt, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the German Ministry of Defense.
According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, during the consultations, the results of defense cooperation between Armenia and Germany for 2025 were discussed and summarized, and programs for 2026 were agreed upon.
The parties exchanged views on international and regional security issues, as well as ongoing reforms in the defense ministries of the two countries.
The parties emphasized the importance of developing cooperation in multilateral formats within NATO and the EU. As a result of the consultations, agreements were reached to expand defense cooperation in a number of areas.
