ArmInfo. The "I am Against" civil movement (Dem Em - Armenian) has announced the establishment of the "People's Voice Is Heard" party, as noted in a statement issued by the movement.
The party will oppose all political forces, past and present, as well as the oligarchic system that has deprived the people of the opportunity to be heard for years. The party's founder is Vanik Nikoyan. He noted that the reason for the creation of the political force was the current government's disregard for issues raised by citizens who reached out to the "I am Against" movement. "This ignored voice has become the driving force of our struggle. We have clearly stated that we will not accept injustice and will not allow the people's voice to go unheard," Nikoyan noted.
According to him, the party's goal is to build a new political environment where decisions are made not instead of the people, but with the people.
The statement also mentioned that the new political force will not focus on street demonstrations, rallies, and noisy protests. The party will pursue a political path through elections, allowing the voice of the people to become a real force determining the country's fate.
