ArmInfo. The state and statehood represent absolute and permanent value, while unjustly acquired power is transitory, and every effort will be made to eliminate it. This open letter was issued by the Central Committee of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) of Western Europe, addressing the current situation in Armenia. The letter-appeal was sent to the embassies of France, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
The ARF recalled that the current Armenian government divided the nation into blacks and whites, lost the war, demoralizing the army, surrendered Artsakh, ceding territory to Armenia, distorted history, undermining national values, renounced the national idea and demands, renounced Ararat, and even the Armenian Genocide. Furthermore, as the ARF added, representatives of the ruling party have tripled the country's foreign debt and continue their mission to destroy the homeland and the nation. As a result, as the ARF Central Committee noted, dozens of opposition politicians and clergymen, including the well-known businessman Samvel Karapetyan, have been imprisoned, which leads to the violation of democratic principles and freedom of speech, and the establishment of a dictatorial regime.
"Today, the ruling power has even reached the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC). Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's campaign against the Armenian Church can only be described in one word: heresy. However, the representatives of the ruling regime will not be able to destroy all the pillars of the nation, because the people no longer belong to them; they are not submissive and obedient slaves, no matter how deceived they may be by your sermons. The Armenian people have already sobered up and are ready to hurl their 'no' in your selfless face," the letter states.
The ARF emphasized that it not only rejects the pro-Turkish course of the current Armenian authorities, orchestrated by external forces and adopted under the false guise of so-called "peace," but will continue to fight it with all its might. In this regard, the Dashnaktsutyun emphasized that the current government has no authority, nor the legal or moral right, to sign any agreement on behalf of the Armenian people. "What you sign is simply a piece of paper. The Armenian people, both in Armenia and in the diaspora, largely reject all the documents you signed, which have brought defeat to the country. We will continue to consider Turkey and Azerbaijan enemies until our rights and justice are fully restored," the ARF noted.
Furthermore, the letter emphasizes the need to continue living and creating in accordance with national and spiritual values. In this regard, it is recalled that all generations in the Diaspora have fought, at the cost of untold sacrifices, to preserve the national values, sacred sites, traditions, language, culture, and identity of the Armenian people, as well as the indisputable rule of law. "Today is no different from yesterday. And today we will remain true to our roots, continuing to reject the ruling regime's anti- national path, its value system, and exposing it at every opportunity. We will pass on this vision to the new generation, which will undoubtedly continue to follow the national path, with the same political and ideological thinking, the same conviction and determination. And the concept of a 'real Armenia' that you used simply does not exist for us," the ARF emphasized. In this regard, the conclusion emphasizes that there is only one Armenia - national, demanding, sovereign, democratic, prosperous, independent and strong, which is also the foundation of the proclaimed free, independent, united Armenia of tomorrow.
