ArmInfo. RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has commended Azerbaijan's decision to lift restrictions on cargo transit to Armenia. During budget hearings in the National Assembly October 27, the Minister emphasized that this step is the very event the Armenian side has been constantly talking about.
Mirzoyan also noted that the Foreign Ministry's plans for 2026 will not be limited to Azerbaijan alone. There is an ongoing dialogue with Turkish partners, starting with discussions between RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Turkish President Erdogan, and continuing through meetings of the permanent representatives working for the normalization of bilateral relations, the foreign ministers, the Foreign Ministry teams, and other agencies. "I see this as a positive development and I am optimistic regarding this dialogue. I hope that in the near future we will achieve significant results in the relations between the two states," the head of the RA Foreign Ministry emphasized.
