6.5 kg of drugs confiscated in Armenia

ArmInfo.  During the preliminary investigation of a criminal case being investigated by the RA Investigative Committee, evidence was obtained indicating that G.N.  illegally acquired various types of narcotics in particularly  large quantities for the purpose of sale between 2024 and 2025. This  was stated in a statement by the RA Investigative Committee.

According to the source, this individual arranged the drugs by  weight, placed them in hiding places, photographed them, and  transferred them through an online store registered with the Telegram  telecommunications app. During a search conducted at G.N.'s actual  residence, a particularly large quantity of marijuana, weighing a  total of 6.5 kg, was discovered and seized.

During the preliminary investigation of the criminal case, it was  also established that G.N. He used bank accounts and an e-wallet to  conceal the criminal origin and true nature of particularly large  amounts of money obtained from drug sales, receiving 14,272,985  drams.

A criminal case has been opened against G.N. under the relevant  articles of the Criminal Code. Arrest has been ordered for him.

The criminal case against G.N., along with the indictment, has been  sent to the supervising prosecutor with a motion to approve it and  refer it to the court for consideration on the merits.
