ArmInfo. Tomorrow is Sunday. The occupation regime is actively preparing to perform an anti-canonical rite at the Hovhannavank Monastery with the unrighteous hands of layman Stepan Asatryan. This "rite" will be, first and foremost, a political move aimed at dividing and destroying the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church, but in a purely spiritual sense, it will be the greatest sin and trial, as stated by activist Ruben Melikyan.
"Under these circumstances, I consider it my duty to attend the Holy and Immortal Liturgy in one of our churches. I will likely visit the Cathedral, where the sacred rite of ordination and chrismation of our six brothers will also be performed during the Liturgy. I urge all the children of our Mother Church to attend the Holy Liturgy in one of the churches tomorrow and to receive communion, praying for mercy for the ungodly service that will be performed at the Hovhannavank Monastery," Ruben Melikyan wrote.
