Avik Isahakyan awarded the title of  "Honorary Citizen of Yerevan"

ArmInfo.  Avik  Isahakyan, literary scholar, Doctor of Philology, professor, and  Honored Artist of Armenia, was awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen  of Yerevan." The Yerevan Council of Elders made this decision during  its regular meeting on October 23.  Forty-three members of the  Council of Elders supported the proposal, three voted against, and  eight abstained.

During the same meeting, the Yerevan Council of Elders also  considered awarding the title of "Honorary Citizen of Yerevan" to  journalist Mark Grigoryan and artist Taron Muradyan.
