ArmInfo.The Academic City will become a true city with modern infrastructure, as stated by RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan during the opening ceremony of the conference "Academic City Armenia: International Knowledge Forum."
According to the MESCS press service, the event was initiated by the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport and the Academic City Foundation. Present at the event were RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, Head of MESCS Zhanna Andreasyan, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, and other officials. In her speech, the head of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation noted that the Academic City will become not only a national educational hub, but also an open platform for international cooperation.
