ArmInfo. The RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports has received reports that the educational process at some preschools in Gyumri was not fully organized, with children being sent home early and parents or staff being called to participate in protests.
"These actions violate children's rights to education, as well as the requirements of RA legislation regulating education, which prohibits party, political, and religious propaganda, as well as holding political events in educational institutions. Directors and staff must exercise political restraint. The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports warns the directors of all educational institutions to ensure the continuity of the educational process and plans to submit a report to law enforcement based on the aforementioned reports," the statement reads.
Note, that there were problems with gas and electricity supplies throughout Gyumri today. Veolia Djur reported that due to an accident, the city's water supply was cut off until 11:00 PM, and residents are complaining of power outages in several areas of the city.
