PM Pashinyan, Catholicos-Patriarch of House of Cilicia of  Armenian  Catholicosate meet in Vatican

ArmInfo.  During his working visit to the Holy See (Vatican), RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the Catholicos-Patriarch of the House of Cilicia, His Eminence and Betitude Raphael Bedros XXI Minassian, and  students from the Levonian Gymnasium of St. Nicholas  Armenian Catholic Church  in Rome.

As reported by the press service of the PM's office,  issues of  Armenia's domestic and foreign policy, current issues, the peace  process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, regional developments, as  well as steps to overcome existing challenges were discussed during a  question-and-answer format. The parties also exchanged views on the  work being done to disseminate and preserve Christian values, as well  as other spiritual and social topics.

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Holiness Raphael Bedros XXI,  Catholicos-Patriarch of the House of Cilicia, presented Prime  Minister Pashinyan with a relic, an ecclesiastical vestments of Saint  Ignasi Maloyan used during the liturgy and preserved at the museum of  the Bzommar Monastery in Lebanon. The Catholicos-Patriarch also  presented the Prime Minister with a commemorative medal, made in  memory of the canonization ceremony held in the Vatican on October  19.
