ArmInfo. Armenia has become a haven for espionage and wiretapping. Gegham Manukyan, NA member  representing the opposition "Armenia" faction, wrote on his Facebook. 

According to him, the latest wiretapping leak, which appeared on  social media today, proved that RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has  created an entire system of complete subjugation, enslavement, and  the use of intelligence agencies and law enforcement agencies as  pawns in Armenia. "All resources are devoted to fulfilling any  political order, any insane tyranny (from searching for the devil to  the Blackshirts), and these slaves will stop at nothing, I reiterate,  nothing, even preparing denunciations against their own relatives  before beginning wiretapping. Today, the entire government media  outlet has launched a large-scale attack on His Holiness, following a  pre-planned scenario, presenting as evidence a telephone conversation  between clergy, the authenticity of which I do not confirm. A few  noteworthy facts: the recording was allegedly made in 2023 and is now  being published, meaning that the Mother See of Etchmiadzin and the  clergy have been under 24-hour surveillance and wiretapping for  years. There are numerous recordings, and they are stored in separate  folders for use, threats, and blackmail as needed," the opposition  leader noted.

He added that "the most criminal group in Armenia continues to  operate." "Nikol (the one who gives the order), law enforcement  officers, operatives, all public and state resources to wiretap,  film, photograph and organize an unofficial leak of all this as  needed, in the political conjecture and by order. And finally, the  lowest chain is the already well-known website medianews.am of  Nikol's deputy chief of staff Taron Chakhoyan, where all these  materials constantly appear. I spoke about this in the National  Assembly the other day. I'm not a lawyer, but don't all these lawyers  in the Investigative Committee, the National Security Service or in  some other servile office understand that they will be held  accountable for the illegal use and disposal of state funds and  resources? And they will be held accountable. I promise this. We  promise. The roots of these people, those who are engaged in illegal  activities, must be cut off in Armenia, so that in the future there  will be neither Nikol, nor his henchmen, nor that dictatorship that   currently reigns in our country,"  Gegham Manukyan wrote.
