


ArmInfo. On October 15, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium, who is on a working visit to Armenia.
According to the PM's office, the Prime Minister welcomed the Queen's visit to Yerevan and emphasized Her Majesty's leadership as an advocate for the UN Sustainable Development Goals. He added that Armenia is taking consistent steps to better implement its commitments under the 2030 Agenda.
Queen Mathilde expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and noted that Armenia had left a great impression on her. Her Majesty underlined the importance of advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals and implementing measures in this regard. The parties emphasized the significant role of inclusive and quality education in achieving the SDGs and discussed the importance of strengthening the role of women in society and the steps being taken in that direction.
Views were exchanged on efforts to establish peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and ensure stability in the region.
