


ArmInfo.The Environmental accumulationand Mineral Resources Inspectorate initiated administrative proceedings based on a report received on September 18 regarding a garbage on the territory of the Sevan National Park State Non-Commercial Organization (SNCO). This was reported by the Inspectorate's press service.
According to the source, it was established that, as a result of inadequate monitoring by the Sevan Forest Department of the Sevan National Park SNCO, a large amount of hazardous class 4 household waste had accumulated on the territory. The disorganized disposal of the accumulated waste, using heavy equipment, resulted in the contamination of 0.81 hectares of land. The damage caused to land resources was estimated at 33,484,320 drams.
A report of an obvious crime has been sent to the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
