


ArmInfo.Lilit Aleksanyan, a member of the Corruption Prevention Commission, has resigned. This was announced in a statement by Alen Simonyan, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the press service of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Lilit Aleksanyan submitted her resignation as a member of the Commission on October 13.
"In accordance with Part 2 of Article 147 of the RA Law 'On the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,' if within one week of the publication of the resignation, the relevant official withdraws it in writing, the Speaker of the National Assembly shall make a corresponding statement. If the resignation is not withdrawn, a protocol on the termination of their powers is drawn up, which is signed and published by the Speaker of the National Assembly. From the moment the protocol is published, the resignation is considered accepted," the Speaker of the National Assembly said in a statement.
