


ArmInfo. Arsen Torosyan, Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kopyrkin discussed several matters of mutual interest in labor and social protection area during a meeting in Yerevan.
According to the Ministry's press service, the significance of collaboration between the two countries in bilateral and multilateral formats, particularly within the CIS, the EAEU, and the UN, was emphasized.
Torosyan presented priorities in the field of labor and social protection, as well as the work done in this area. He also discussed the implementation of social assistance programs, housing, and employment for internally displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh. In this context, the Minister emphasized that the support provided to Artsakh refugees by the Russian state and public organizations should be coordinated with the Russian Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs to ensure a more targeted distribution of assistance to families.
In turn, Kopirkin underscored the importance of cooperation in labor and social protection and expressed his commitment to investing every possible effort in developing bilateral relations.
It is worth noting that several Russian humanitarian organizations are providing targeted assistance to Artsakh refugees in Armenia.
