ANC Deputy Chairman: Pashinyan rejected Armenia`s first three  presidents` negotiating legacy on Artsakh, which ultimately led the  country into war

ArmInfo. It was the current Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, who rejected the negotiating legacy of Armenia's first three presidents on Artsakh in  2019, leading the country into the devastating war of 2020.

This is how Levon Zurabyan, Deputy Chairman of the Armenian National  Congress (ANC), responded to Pashinyan's statements that Levon  Ter-Petrosyan, Robert Kocharyan, and Serzh Sargsyan handled the  Nagorno-Karabakh peace talks poorly. In this regard, he noted that  the Prime Minister rejected the only possible settlement plan, that  involved freezing the status of Nagorno-Karabakh, a move that the  Azerbaijani leadership had also agreed to.

"Meanwhile, Nikol Pashinyan's statements confirmed that by  sacrificing Artsakh, he implemented his strategy of reconciliation  with Azerbaijan and establishing dialogue with Turkey," the ANC  deputy chairman added.

In light of the above, Zurabyan  questioned, who, in this case, was  serving the interests of another state.
