


ArmInfo. On October 8, RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan received renowned Italian art critic and historian Francesco Gallo Mazzeo, who visited Armenia accompanied by sculptor Vigen Avetis to deliver a lecture.
According to the presidential press service, Vahagn Khachaturyan welcomed Gallo Mazzeo's visit to Armenia, praising his work in the fields of art history and cultural heritage studies. The President emphasized the importance of the opportunity to exchange international experience and knowledge, emphasizing that such contacts contribute to the professional growth of Armenian youth, broaden their horizons, and develop creative thinking.
Francesco Gallo Mazzeo, expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, emphasized that his interest and love for Armenia began many years ago. He noted that he was deeply impressed by the uniqueness of Armenian art, the richness of our cultural heritage, and the historical resilience of our people. Speaking about the current situation in Armenia, the Italian art historian emphasized his inspiration in our country's efforts to establish peace and wished the people of Armenia peace, development, and prosperity.
During the conversation, the traditions of knowledge transfer and the importance of innovation were discussed. Both sides emphasized that culture and education remain alternative paths to development.
