


ArmInfo. Armenia and Germany are bound not only by strong interstate ties but also by a shared commitment to fundamental freedoms and the rule of law. This was stated by RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan in his speech at an event dedicated to Germany's national holiday, Unity Day.
According to the government press service, the Deputy Prime Minister wished the German people peace and prosperity. Mher Grigoryan expressed hope that, through joint efforts, comprehensive cooperation between Armenia and Germany will continue to expand, aimed at strengthening the friendship and well- being of the two peoples.
"Armenia and Germany are bound not only by strong interstate ties but also by a shared commitment to fundamental freedoms and the rule of law. Relations between our countries are based on trust and mutual respect," the Deputy Prime Minister noted.
Mher Grigoryan also noted the consistent progress in cooperation between the two countries in recent years in areas of mutual interest and noted that Armenia highly values Germany's support for efforts aimed at strengthening peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
The Deputy Prime Minister also praised Germany's continued support for democratic reforms, Armenia's sustainable development, and the further deepening of the Armenia-EU partnership. In this context, he emphasized the importance of development programs implemented over many years in priority areas for the Armenian government with the support of the German Agency for International Cooperation and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
