


ArmInfo.The National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia failed to adopt a decision on a candidate for the Corruption Prevention Commission at its plenary session on October 2. By decision of the Competition Council, former Deputy Minister of Justice Levon Balyan was nominated for the vacant position.
As Narek Babayan, Chairman of the RA Counting Commission, noted in his speech, none of the 107 parliamentarians participated in the secret ballot. Therefore, the National Assembly failed to make a decision on the candidate for the Corruption Prevention Commission.
