


ArmInfo. In Strasbourg, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, Michael O'Flaherty.
According to the RA Prime Minister's press service, the meeting focused on reforms implemented in human rights in Armenia, steps aimed at strengthening democratic institutions, and the prospects for cooperation between Armenia and the Council of Europe.
Pashinyan lauded the work of the Commissioner for Human Rights and emphasized Armenia's readiness to continue close cooperation with the Council of Europe in the strengthening of human rights, democracy, and the rule of law.
Michael O'Flaherty lauded the Armenian government's commitment to human rights and the consistent steps taken to strengthen democracy, emphasizing that this contributes to the protection of citizens' fundamental rights and freedoms. The parties also discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation, and emphasized the importance of continuous and constructive dialogue between Armenia and the Council of Europe.
