

ArmInfo. In Strasbourg, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Boriana Aberg and Piero Fassino, co-rapporteurs on Armenia's commitments and obligations to the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
According to the PM's office, during the meeting, the parties discussed the progress of cooperation between Armenia and the Council of Europe, the steps being taken to strengthen democratic institutions, human rights protection, and judicial reforms.
Pashinyan emphasized the importance of the participation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in advancing Armenia's democratic agenda and the government's readiness to continue cooperation in the areas of the rule of law and human rights protection. The co-rapporteurs commended the progress recorded in Armenia and expressed confidence that the country will continue to consistently fulfill its obligations. They reaffirmed the PACE Monitoring Committee's readiness to continue close cooperation.
