Science Week festival to take place in Armenia starting September 30

ArmInfo.From September 30 to October 5,  the first nationwide Science Week: Armenia 2025 festival, dedicated to the popularization of science and technology will take place in Armenia. This year's festival motto is "Advance with Science."

The festival will open at 3:00 PM at Freedom Square. The central  event will take place at Freedom Square, where achievements in the  world of science, technology, engineering, science fiction, and art  will be showcased over the course of six days. Leading  representatives of Armenia's government, academic, educational,  technological, and creative organizations will participate in the  festival.

The festival's thematic sections will include: "Advance with Science"  (September 30 - October 1) - stories of the practical application of  science and innovation, scientific experiments, projects, and  exhibitions from scientific institutes  in the Republic of Armenia.  The "Why Become a Scientist and Engineer" section (October 2-3) will  help young people with career guidance.

A blend of science fiction and art will take place at the "Expanding  the Imagination" platform (October 4- 5). Literature, film, comics,  games, and futuristic projects will be showcased.  In parallel with  the festival, schools and kindergartens across the country will host  scientific experiments, games, projects, and exhibitions designed to  instill in children an interest and love for science, technology, and  engineering from an early age.

The Science Week. Armenia 2025 festival is organized by the  "Scientific Power" initiative with the support of the Ministry of  Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia,  the Yerevan Municipality, and the National Academy of Sciences of the  Republic of Armenia. The event's main sponsors were YoHealth, Team  Telecom Armenia (technology partner), and Ameriabank (innovation  partner).
