Armenian Foreign Minister, US Deputy Secretary of State discuss strategic partnership issues

ArmInfo.On the margins of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with the U.S. Deputy Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Brent Christensen.

According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the implementation of programs aimed at developing the strategic partnership between Armenia and the United States. Both sides emphasized the active dynamics towards implementation of the agreements outlined in the bilateral memoranda signed on August 8 in Washington regarding cooperation in the fields of energy and artificial intelligence.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Brent Christensen exchanged views on regional developments as well as Armenia- U.S. cooperation on multilateral platforms.
