ArmInfo.Urgent investigative actions are underway in the crime committed in the Parakar community, Aram Ghazaryan, Chief of Police of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, told reporters.
According to him, the crime has received widespread public attention, and the police, together with their partners from the Investigative Committee and the National Security Service, are doing everything possible to resolve the case as quickly as possible. Ghazaryan emphasized that, as of now, no arrests have been made.
The police chief declined to provide details of the investigation, citing investigative confidentiality. He only assured that large-scale investigative measures are being taken.
Responding to a question about his possible resignation in the wake of the murder of Volodya Grigoryan, head of the Parakar community, and his friend, Ghazaryan stated that he is prepared to leave his post if necessary. As a reminder, the head of the enlarged Parakar community, Volodya Grigoryan, and his friend, police officer Karen Abrahamyan, were shot dead on the night of September 24. Another person who was wounded is in the hospital.
