ArmInfo. The current situation in the country is the result of the Turkification of Armenia, the author and main culprit of which is the de facto Prime Minister of the Republic, Nikol Pashinyan.
This is how Turkologist Varuzhan Geghamyan responded on his Facebook page to the assassination of Volodya Grigoryan, the opposition head of the enlarged Parakar community.
In this vein, he published a timeline of events in Armenia over the past 24 months alone. Specifically, Geghamyan touched on yesterday's assassination of Volodya Grigoryan, the opposition head of the enlarged Parakar community, and also recalled Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's attacks on the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC), the illegal detentions of Archbishops Bagrat Galstanyan and Mikael Ajapakhyan, and the arrest of philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan. "There have also been arrests of municipal officials and repression against the political forces that won the elections. Furthermore, there are several dozen political prisoners, a growing foreign debt, daily daily problems, from traffic jams to floods, and the murder of a pregnant woman by the prime minister's motorcade," the Turkologist recalled.
Continuing, he drew attention to dozens of corruption revelations against members of the ruling party and the detention of several dozen Armenian prisoners of war in an Azerbaijani prison, abandoned to their fate while all the demands of Turkey and Azerbaijan are being met.
"Along with this, there are the upcoming territorial concessions in Tavush and Vayots Dzor, the surrender of Artsakh, and the renunciation of the liberation struggle and our holy martyrs. Also, there is the daily propaganda of slander, hatred, insults, and the deliberate division of society," the expert noted, adding that the list could go on.
Touching on a possible way out of this situation, Geghamyan noted that either everyone will remain silent and resign themselves to everything happening in the country, at best becoming homeless migrants, or they will finally begin to fight for a strong, just, and victorious Armenia, where it will be possible to live safely and freely.
