Armenia, NATO discuss prospects for enhancing cooperation

ArmInfo.Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan received a delegation led by Burcu San, the NATO Deputy Assistant  Secretary General for Operations, who is in Armenia within the  framework of the 108th Rose-Roth Seminar of the NATO Parliamentary  Assembly.

During the meeting, the current agenda of Armenia-NATO relations and  prospects for its development were discussed. Ideas on issues  concerning regional and international security were also exchanged.   The sides expressed willingness to continue joint efforts to deepen  Armenia-NATO cooperation.

The NATO Parliamentary Assembly is held under the theme: "Armenia and  the South Caucasus in a Changing World: Strengthening Democracy and  Regional Security."
