ArmInfo.Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party and businessman, presented the main areas of activity for the inter-party program within the framework of the "Armenia's Proposal" initiative.
As Tsarukyan recalled on his Facebook page, he announced the development of the initiative back in May of this year. He stated that this is a non-partisan program in which every citizen will see a formulation of the most pressing and pressing issues facing them, their families, and their country, along with possible solutions.
"This program must be developed through the joint efforts of industry experts, respected scientists, public figures, and people with proposals, ideas, and thoughts. It will be developed with the direct participation of citizens, involving the best specialists in Armenia and the diaspora," the party leader noted.
The businessman also assured that during the program's development, it will be regularly submitted for public discussion, and therefore, the suggestions of citizens and experts will be taken into account. "This will be a public, open process," Tsarukyan explained.
The party leader proposed beginning work on the project by familiarizing themselves with its preamble.
According to Tsarukyan, Armenia primarily needs internal reconciliation, public dialogue, the elimination of hostility, and the restoration of unity within the Armenian world. "Secondly, according to the program, it is necessary to suspend, freeze, and revise a number of controversial laws and regulations-laws that harm the country and poison the lives of hundreds of thousands of people," the businessman believes.
Tsarukyan also noted the need for competent peace negotiations with Azerbaijan, the elimination of unilateral concessions, a realistic peace program, the neutralization of the risk of war, the restoration of allied relations, the creation of a real security system, and the implementation of new major economic programs.
The party leader concluded by expressing confidence that it is precisely around these simple issues that broad public consolidation can be achieved. As a reminder, in late May 2025, Gagik Tsarukyan, who had remained silent for a long time, gave an interview to his own television channel, Kentron. During the interview, he did not rule out the possibility of running in the 2026 parliamentary elections and announced the program "Armenia's Proposal." Tsarukyan also assured that he was not running for the post of prime minister, as he had "achieved everything, and the position is of no importance to him." He noted that "his main goal is to make the country strong in order to fully ensure the safety of our children."
