ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has once again accused three former presidents of the Republic of Armenia - Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Robert Kocharyan, and Serzh Sargsyan - of consistently evading political responsibility.
In the past half day, the prime minister has managed to make three posts. In the first, Pashinyan noted, in particular: "When the people rejoice, the notorious trinity that runs away from debates is sad. Now the people are rejoicing that peace has come, that not a single soldier has died.
And the trinity that runs away from debates has fallen into depression because of this. The actual number of victims isn't enough for them, and they never miss an opportunity to voice their cherished figures, especially since they aren't growing, "as luck would have it." Now tell me, will you come to the debate or not? (Pashinyan has repeatedly invited three presidents to debates on the Artsakh negotiation process - ed.)
In the next post, the prime minister noted that previous leaders relentlessly accuse him of dragging Armenia into war.
"If I dragged Armenia into war, what was an 18-year-old serviceman of the Republic of Armenia doing outside the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia as of 2018? Moreover, they were neither your children nor your grandchildren.
Then why didn't you send your grandchildren and children to the peace zone? Tell me, where were your children at that time and what were they doing?" Levon Ter-Petrosyan (ed.), who on March 1, 2008, abandoned Ktrich Nersisyan (the secular name of Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II - ed.) at the gate of his home, not letting him through, is now defending Ktrich Nersisyan. Go ahead, quickly apologize to the great Ktrich for not letting him closer than the doghouse on March 1, 2008.
Tell me again: are you going to the debate or not? Otherwise, it's a warrior, a brain, and a full house. In his third, and currently final, post, Pashinyan accused Levon Ter-Petrosyan of dragging Armenia into the war, Robert Kocharyan of dragging Karabakh into the war and fleeing to Armenia, and Serzh Sargsyan of "fleeing Karabakh early to enjoy the coins they collected at the Lachin post."
"Victorious presidents, victorious presidents! Reflecting on the history of the Third Republic, I noted with horror that not a single candidate for "victorious president"-can you imagine, not a single one-ever received a vote of confidence from the people. Listen, if you brought victory to the people, can you explain why you've been rigging elections since 1996? How could the people fail to elect the leaders who brought them victory? How?" And they didn't vote because, despite the analysts you allegedly paid, artists, caring mothers of Armenia and ancestors standing silently and thoughtfully behind their backs, they understood that you did not bring victory, but dragged Armenia into an abyss from which there is no escape.
"And now you die, seeing that, yes, this solution was found at the cost of thousands of victims. You die, literally, three times a day. Once in the morning, once at noon, and once at nightfall.
And just tell me, are you going to the debate or not? You can bring Ktrich, Samo, Gevorg, and Vazgen with you. We can organize the debate in my former cell in the Kentron district of Yerevan, so that it will be convenient for all of you," Pashinyan wrote.
The previous evening, Armenia's first president, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, wrote on his Facebook page that Pashinyan's "flight" of thoughts and insolence know no bounds. He specifically accused Pashinyan of declaring war on Azerbaijan with the bold statement "Artsakh is Armenia, period," and suffering a crushing defeat. He then foolishly rejected Russian President Vladimir Putin's offer to end the war. Pashinyan's actions, in his opinion, also led to the complete de-Armenization of Nagorno-Karabakh and the death of 5,000 bright young people, while over 10,000 soldiers were left disabled. The current prime minister also 'handed over members of Karabakh's military-political leadership as hostages to Azerbaijan' and 'is displaying cruelty toward over 100,000 refugees from Karabakh who have found refuge in Armenia'. 'And after all this, every day you cynically declare, repeat, and boast that you have granted peace to the Armenian people, expecting, or rather demanding, their gratitude in return, but, not receiving it, you direct all your bile in their direction; by the way, the anniversary of independence is not Pashinyan's holiday. He hates this independence because it was not he who brought it, but others. One thing is certain: Pashinyan has already secured for himself an "honorable" place on the memorial plaque of famous Armenian traitors-next to Meruzhan Artsruni, Vahan Mamikonyan, Vasak Syuni, Melik Shahnazar, and Melik Frangul," Levon Ter- Petrosyan noted.
