Aram I  stresses the need for  stronger cooperation between   Jerusalem churches  during a meeting with Theophilos V in Astana

ArmInfo. Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Aram I, held a meeting with Patriarch Theophilos V of Jerusalem of the Greek Orthodox Church in Astana,  Kazakhstan. During the meeting, they emphasized the importance of   strengthening cooperation between the churches of Jerusalem.

According to the press service of the Great House of Cilicia, they  also discussed the current difficulties facing the Armenian  Patriarchate of Jerusalem, particularly regarding the "Cows' Garden"  district. His Holiness noted that in such situations, mutual  assistance between churches is expected, as Apostle Paul reminds  Christians of in his letters. At the conclusion of the meeting, the  two spiritual leaders also held a brief conversation with the  Chairman of the Doha International Center for  Interfaith Dialogue,  Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi.

Also in attendance  at the meeting was His Grace Archbishop Mesrop  Sarkissian, the Primate of the Armenian Diocese of the United Arab  Emirates, Qatar, and Adjacent Territories.
