ArmInfo. Armenia will strengthen its relations with Russia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this on September 20, speaking at the 7th Congress of the ruling Civil Contract Party. However, Pashinyan disagrees with his fellow party members regarding the notion of Russia engaging in a "hybrid war."
"We have established military-technical cooperation with many countries, while continuing to interact with the Russian Federation, the importance of which cannot be overstated. Relations with Russia are undergoing a transformation. Let me express my opinion that this is a constructive transformation, and on this basis, we will strengthen relations with the Russian Federation," Pashinyan said.
During a briefing with journalists, Pashinyan indicated that "there are colleagues who believe that the Russian Federation is waging a hybrid war against Armenia, and they may have certain justifications, particularly due to a number of television channels or individual speakers promoting this logic."
"But I don't view our relations in that light. I believe, and I say this in all discussions, including with international partners, that I attach importance to dialogue with the Russian President; it is very important. I highly value dialogue with the head of the Russian government," he emphasized.
