


ArmInfo. The Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia has established that an employee of the Ashtarak Regional Center of the Unified Social Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs facilitated the receipt of bribes of various amounts by officials by removing obstacles.
Specifically, the preliminary investigation established that the aforementioned employee of the Unified Social Service, during a medical and social examination organized at the same regional center in September 2024, demanded and received various amounts for the illegal assessment by commission members of the degree of limitation of legal capacity of several citizens exceeding 25%, as stipulated by the relevant decree of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, with the purpose of transferring these amounts as bribes to officials.
The aforementioned employee of the Unified Social Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has been charged with facilitating the receipt of a bribe under Article 46-435, Part 2, Clause 3 (3 counts) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. Charges have also been brought against individuals who paid bribes.
The preliminary investigation into the criminal case has been completed, and the case materials and indictment have been sent to the Anti-Corruption Court of the Republic of Armenia.
