Referring to the humanitarian sphere, the parties emphasized the importance of fully realizing the potential for cooperation in education and science. In this regard, the activities of the Armenian-Chinese Friendship School in Yerevan, which has been playing an important role in expanding cultural and educational ties between the two peoples for many years, were highlighted as a successful example. Khachaturyan expressed gratitude to the people and authorities of China for the humanitarian and development assistance provided to Armenia over the years.
