ArmInfo. For the third time, Yerevan will become a global fashion hotspot. From October 23 to 26, Yerevan Fashion Week (YFW) will bring together Armenian and international designers, leading industry professionals, influential guests, and fashion enthusiasts under one roof.
According to the Fashion and Design Chamber, this year's event will feature shows, exhibitions, presentations, and creative projects, where designers will present their new collections, and guests will have the opportunity to participate in individual brand presentations, a fashion expo, thematic panel discussions, and exhibitions. More than 20 designers from Armenia and abroad (UAE, Iran, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, and Russia) will present their collections. The traditional Fashion Scout Armenia competition for young designers (fashionscout.com/fashion-scout-armenia) will take place, offering the best participants the chance to attend London Fashion Week and receive training at Polimoda (Italy). The competition is held in collaboration with the international platform Fashion Scout.
A Fashion Expo is also expected, where more than 60 Armenian and international brands will be able to present their collections, establish partnerships, increase brand awareness, and sell their products. Fashion Week will also feature Fashion Talks-panel discussions with international experts on styling, fashion photography, sustainable fashion, the intersection of IT and fashion, portfolio creation, and more.
Additionally, a unique exhibition will take place at the National Gallery of Armenia, featuring the works of approximately 30 designers, inspired by the work of prominent Armenian artists. Special projects include shows and exhibitions from CRELAB Tavush and Kotayk, a Pepsi x YFW competition, and a Denim Cycle show. Yerevan Fashion Week has a significant impact on tourism development. The event will be covered by leading international and local fashion media, including Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, BBC, Le Mile, Fucking Young, White Milano, Tranoi, and others.
