ArmInfo. The "Free Armenian Prisoners" initiative (Free Armenian Hostages) called on citizens of Armenia and the Armenian Diaspora to refrain from spreading Azerbaijani propaganda regarding the sham trial of Armenian prisoners of war in Baku.
The statement issued by the initiative and posted on its Facebook page reads as follows: "Everyone in Armenia and the diaspora must recognize that any statements coming from Azerbaijan's courts, Aliyev's authoritarian regime and its media, will be lies-fabricated and extracted through brutal torture. There are no independent media outlets or observers present in the Baku "courts", so we cannot believe the authenticity of the news. Even publicly available speeches are often translated in a clearly falsified way. So, stay calm and clear-headed, and don't believe anything that comes out of the so-called "trial" of Armenian captives-yet another act of terrorism disguised as justice. Do not amplify their propaganda on your pages."
