IRI Ambassador: Iran continues to support Armenia`s efforts to  establish lasting stability and peace in the region

ArmInfo.  On September 16, RA Deputy PM Mher Grigoryan received Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia Mehdi Sobhani, who is  concluding his mission in the country.

As reported by the government press service,  the Deputy Prime  Minister personally thanked the Ambassador on behalf of himself and   the government  for the work done during his tenure and for his  significant contribution to the development of Armenian-Iranian  interstate relations.

The Ambassador, thanking the Deputy Prime Minister for the  established constructive cooperation, noted that Iran continues to  support Armenia's efforts to establish lasting stability and peace in  the region.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the achievements of  the last two years in expanding bilateral cooperation between Armenia  and Iran in key areas and exchanged views on upcoming events and  possible new joint programs. Mher Grigoryan wished the Ambassador new  successes in his future activities, noting that Ambassador Sobhani  will always remain a friend of Armenia.
