Homeland party nominates poet Khachik Manukyan to post of Echmiadzin  mayor 

ArmInfo. On November 16, local government elections will be held in the enlarged community of Vagharshapat. The Rodina party nominated poet and publicist Khachik  Manukyan as a candidate for mayor. The party chairman, former  director of the National Security Service Artur Vanetsyan wrote about  this on his Facebook account. 

"I am sure that Mr. Manukyan is the very person who is capable of  taking the post of the head of our spiritual capital and, with his  hard work and dedication, breathing new life into the development of  Echmiadzin and the surrounding villages. Together we will create  victory first in Vagharshapat, and then throughout Armenia. Let's get  to work, dear comrades. With God!" - wrote Artur Vanetsyan.
