


ArmInfo. On September 16, RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Executive Director of the Armenian Assembly of America (AAA) Brian Ardouny, Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees Oscar Tatosian and former Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees Anthony Barsamian.
As reported by the press service of the RA President, welcoming the guests, Vahagn Khachaturyan highly appreciated the activities of the AAA, emphasizing its importance in conveying objective information about Armenia and our region not only to the American, but also to the international community. He also emphasized the importance of the AAA's assistance in resolving issues aimed at deepening Armenian- American cooperation and enhancing Armenia's role in the region and on international platforms.
Speaking about the programs implemented by the Assembly in Armenia, the President emphasized their importance for the development of the country. During the conversation, an exchange of views also took place on the importance of holding the 17th Conference of the Parties on Biodiversity (COP-17), which will be held in Armenia in 2026.
The meeting discussed Armenia's relations with neighboring countries, as well as issues related to the domestic political and general situation.
