ArmInfo. Predicting the next anti-Armenian steps that the government of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will take would be a thankless task. Hayk Mamijanyan, head of the opposition parliamentary faction "With Honor," told journalists on September 15, when commenting on the reasons for removing Mount Ararat from official stamps.
According to the politician, he spoke on this issue in the National Assembly a year ago. "One can only be surprised at the pioneering willingness and speed with which Pashinyan is implementing Azerbaijani- Turkish demands. At the same time, no one is talking or commenting on the connection between this step by the authorities and the peace itself. The decision to remove Mount Ararat from the stamps has nothing to do with the peace process. This is just a step to please Baku and Ankara. Whether they will remove Mount Ararat from the state emblem of the country or not, time will tell, but I will not be surprised if this really happens. By and large, I have long been uninterested in what Pashinyan has done or will do, I am more concerned about what the citizens of the Republic of Armenia will do in response, because in the case of the Prime Minister, everything has long been clear, but the future is ours," the oppositionist noted.
