


ArmInfo. From now on, the logic of peace, not conflict, will prevail in the South Caucasus. This was stated at a meeting between the Armenian Ambassador to Germany Viktor Yengibaryan and the senior member of the Bundestag Foreign Affairs Committee, the speaker on foreign policy issues of the parliamentary faction of the Social Democratic Party Adis Akhmetovich.
As the Armenian diplomat reported on his Facebook page, Yengibaryan presented the Armenian government's program "Crossroads of Peace" and the trilateral documents signed in Washington by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, the Presidents of Azerbaijan and the United States.
Touching upon the latest regional events, he emphasized that an era of cooperation and prosperity has begun for Armenia and Azerbaijan, and from now on, the logic of peace, not conflict, will prevail throughout the region.
At the same time, the ambassador noted that the agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations also opens up great opportunities for neighboring countries, the European Union and Germany. He emphasized that the initialing of the agreement reduces security risks that previously were an obstacle for foreign investors, pointing to opportunities for cooperation in the field of information technology, tourism and a number of other areas of mutual interest. Relations between Armenia and the European Union were mentioned.
