


ArmInfo. Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of Armenia, was elected as a member of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Prosecutors at the General Assembly of the International Association of Prosecutors held in Singapore, as reported by the press service of the Armenian supervisory agency.
It is noted that the Executive Committee serves as the governing and administrative body of the association. The Committee consists of a chairman, a deputy chairman and 20 members.
The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia has been a member of the IAP since January 1, 1999, and this is the first time it has been nominated as a member of the Executive Committee. The association, founded in 1995, seeks to support prosecutors worldwide in promoting the rule of law and upholding the IAP's standards of professional conduct. Around 450 participants from 80 countries attended the Annual Conference and General Assembly of the International Association of Prosecutors in Singapore.
