Armenia, Switzerland discuss potential of international legal  cooperation 

ArmInfo.  On September 9, 2025, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan met with the Prosecutor General of the Swiss Confederation Stefan Bletler as part of her working visit to the Republic of Singapore.

As reported by the supervisory authority, Anna Vardapetyan thanked  the Prosecutor General of Switzerland for accepting the invitation to  a bilateral meeting within the framework of the International  Association of Prosecutors conference and discussing the prospects  for developing cooperation in the field of criminal justice. She  highly appreciated the cooperation established between the Prosecutor  General's Offices of Armenia and Switzerland and expressed gratitude  for the assistance provided by Swiss colleagues in the criminal  proceedings on the money laundering crime being investigated in  Armenia.

During the meeting, in particular, the possibilities for developing  international legal cooperation between Armenia and Switzerland in  the criminal law sphere and the prospects for deepening cooperation  within the framework of Eurojust were discussed.

Anna Vardapetyan left for a working visit to the Republic of  Singapore to participate in the 30th Annual Conference and General  Assembly of Eurojust. International Association of Prosecutors  (IAPP). The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia was elected  as a candidate for membership in the Executive Committee at the 59th  session of the Executive Committee of the International Association  of Prosecutors, held in Buenos Aires on 8 April 2025. The election of  a member of the Executive Committee will take place at the upcoming  meeting.
