ArmInfo. Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisogomonyan received Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia of the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) Belen Sanz Luque.
According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the meeting discussed the progress achieved by Armenia in the field of gender equality, women's leadership and socio-economic protection, the RA Action Plan for the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace and Security", as well as issues of ensuring the rights of the most vulnerable groups.
Armenia's initiatives at multilateral platforms aimed at promoting the rights of women and girls were also discussed.
